How to read a CBR file

Hello,
I would like to know how to read a CBR file.
When I try to open a CBR document, an Adobe Reader window says: "Adobe Reader could not open this file because this type of file is not supported."
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 19.0

    Have you tried decompressing with WinRAR or even with Adobe Reader?

    Phew... I spent 2 hours on it, but I managed it with WinRaR... I filled a whole page of a manual :-) There might have been an easier way, but oh well...

    Yes, I tried WinRAR and Adobe Reader, but it doesn’t work.
