Hello everyone,
I am new to this site and I apologize if I am awkward.
I am a system administrator in a town hall and need to solve a vectorization issue for the graphic designer.
Here is the problem:
when he selects to vectorize in grayscale or color, at the end of the process, the object disappears and a white rectangle appears in its place.
The workstation is running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit with 8 GB of RAM. The user's account is set as an administrator for the session.
Have you encountered this problem before?
Thank you in advance for your responses.
Best regards.
Configuration: Windows 8 / Internet Explorer 10.0

Hello and thank you for your response.
I went to check and indeed the graphic designer is already using this method but without results.
I wonder if this problem might be due to the fact that the PC is running Win7 Pro 64bits.
I will try to gather more information about it.
Best regards.

Hello,
I don't think the problem is directly related to the computer.
It's more of a settings issue than a hardware problem.
If you want me to try, you can send me your image to vectorize (for example, via Private Message)
Have a nice day

Good evening, in fact the problem arises with any image.
I don't know anything about DTP software, that's why I'm looking on this forum.
Have a good evening and thank you for your help.

Hello,
Dynamic vectorization incorporates predefined parameters (Simple vectorization, Grayscale, Lettering... etc.).
Unfortunately, on some images, the predefined options do not work or work very poorly.
That’s why at the very bottom of the dropdown list, there is an option "Vectorization Options...".
This gives you access to a new adjustment window, allowing you to fine-tune the vectorization output.
Start by checking the box on the right "Preview" to see a real-time preview of your vectorization options.
You just need to modify your settings in this dialog box.
Test each option to see their effects on the image until you achieve a satisfactory result.
Once finished, click on "Vectorize" to start the vectorization on the selection.
When done, if you want to manually adjust the result of the vectorization, click on the top bar of Illustrator "Release".
You will then see all the paths that your vectorization has generated.
If your image is complex, hundreds of paths will appear.
Best of luck.
