Hi :)
I wanted to know if it’s possible, and if so, how we can download streaming videos available online on sites like Dailymotion or YouTube?
Are there other ways to obtain videos on the internet? Actually, what I'm looking for are cutscenes from video games like Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts so that I can watch them on players like Windows Media Player or Winamp.
There you go! Any other information on this subject is welcome :) As novices, we still have a lot to learn!!
Thanks for your answers ^^

Hi,
to simply get all the possible videos from the internet that are usually only available for viewing or "streaming":
first, install the latest version of Firefox here if you haven't already:
http://www.mozilla-europe.org/fr/products/firefox/
or update it.
next, install the "unplug" add-on here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2254
restart Firefox and if the installation was successful, a green fish icon should appear in the top right of the Firefox window.
go to the video page as if to view it, then click on the green fish icon in the top right of the Firefox window.
A window will then pop up showing the source of the currently viewed videos.
click on "save" below the video file names (.flv, .swf, .asx, .rm, .ra, etc....)
