Hello everyone,
After browsing through a ton of topics, I’m asking for a little help. I recently formatted my PC, flashed the BIOS and some other stuff, and since then, with Chrome, I can’t reach the Chrome Web Store pages, Google Drive, Google Docs, or even sign in to YouTube.
Date and time on my PC are correct, I accept cookies (which I’ve cleared several times), I checked the “Check server certificate revocation” box, I even reset my IP address, and it still doesn’t work.
Obviously, after each change I’ve restarted the browser and even rebooted the machine several times.
I can add that I can reach Google Mail, however.
Finally, all these pages are reachable with Firefox 19 (but I use Chrome for professional reasons).
Would anyone have other suggestions to recommend, please?
Thank you very much!
Configuration: Windows 7 64-bit / Chrome 25.0.1364.97

Hi,
If your user profile stored in the Google browser is corrupted, you can create another one to replace the defective one.
To do this:
Close Google Chrome
Use the keyboard shortcut Windows + R
Enter the path to the appropriate directory in the address bar:
For Windows XP:
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\
Click OK
For Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\
Click OK
In the opened directory window, locate the folder named "Default" and rename it to "Backup default".
Close the windows.
Then reopen Google Chrome.
A new folder "Default" is automatically created when the browser opens.
To recover your bookmarks:
Copy the file "Bookmarks.bak" from the "Backup default" folder and paste it into the new "Default" folder.
Once the file is moved, rename it to "Bookmarks" to complete the transfer.

Hi Toadangel and thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, it still doesn’t work any better. I’m still experiencing the same blockages. I don’t think I mentioned earlier that I’ve also uninstalled (with CCleaner) and reinstalled Chrome several times, with no further success. Do you have any other ideas? Thanks again!
