Can you leave a voicemail when you're blocked?

Hello everyone,

I wanted to know if, when we block a number, does the caller go to voicemail?

Do they know that they are blocked?
Can they leave a voicemail?

No, he doesn't know he's blocked. For him, the mobile terminal is offline. Period.
Can he leave a voicemail? It all depends if it's an operator blacklist (so no) or software (software available on a smartphone, so yes).

Blacklist operator, that's for example the steps: settings / calls / all calls / automatic rejection

Is that right?

Is the software only available on smartphones?

Actually, I want to block a number.

As a test, I blocked my brother's number and when he called me, he said he heard a ring and then the voicemail kicked in.

So if the person trying to reach me hears a ring and then goes to voicemail, they will know they are blocked, right? It would have been better if there was no ringing before the voicemail so they could think I ran out of battery or that my phone was off or something like that.
