Hello,
Since I changed an ink cartridge, the ink light keeps turning on every time and I can no longer print!
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 18.0

I removed and reinserted the ink cartridges, which have ink in them, and now I have 2 crosses on the yellow and magenta!!! I don't understand anything anymore!!!

Hello and thank you
yes I removed and reinserted the cartridge, the computer shows that my cartridge is full but the ink light turns on again every time I turn my printer back on ;;; -
That would explain the red light; I pulled out all the cartridges that look like they're not full but not empty...

Hello,
are you sure you have properly inserted the cartridge into its slot?
Did you press the button that restarts the printer after changing the cartridges?

Is there not another empty cartridge?

Is the button on anyway?
It's quite a recent printer too, from what I've seen online

It's still kind of weird because I have about the same type of Epson printer for 6 years and I've never had this issue.
Is the printer still under warranty?
Also, check this Epson link and make sure you've followed all these steps:

Have you used Epson ink cartridges and not compatible ones?

Yes, I have never changed the cartridges, only the black one is "compatible" and it is recognized!

Try this but not sure it will work:
Resetting the ink counter:
Unplug the printer
Press the "Black," "Color," "Stop/Reset," and "Power" buttons.
Without releasing the buttons, plug the power cable back in.
Or this:
Turn off the printer
Remove the cartridges
Turn the printer back on
Reinsert the cartridges

I give up!!! I have tried all these things and nothing changes!
Thank you for your help anyway.

Hi!
Having had the same problem, I suggest you this solution:
You start a print job for a document
In the notification area (at the bottom right near the clock), you'll see a printer icon
Right-click on it
Click on "Control Preferences"
In the notification selection, uncheck "Low Ink Level"
Then at the bottom of the window, uncheck "Low Ink Level Reminder"
I hope this works for you.
