Hello,
I have a really annoying problem as my device refuses to take pictures!
Even though the memory card has been emptied in the device by deleting all the photos (I don't know how to do it from my Mac), it still shows "memory card full" even though when I press "display" (green square with arrow inside) it says "no valid images to read".
And it does this with 4 out of 5 memory cards, I'm going to throw it out the window! HELP!!!
Configuration: Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.8) / Safari 5.1.7

Hello
I don't know the Lumix fz45, but if you have "format the card" in the menus, try that option. Otherwise, try reformatting a card via the Mac.
Procedure:
Plug the card into the Mac, then go to:
Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility
In Disk Utility, select the SD card to format in the left column, then click on the "Erase" tab.
Under the "Erase" tab, choose "MS-DOS (FAT)" in the dropdown menu for "Format"
Click "Erase" at the bottom right.
At least this way you are sure that your card is as if it just came out of its packaging, so empty.
Best regards.
