Hello,
My TNT Sat decoder burned out just 10 days after I put in the new card.
If I buy a new decoder, I will use the old card from the other decoder.
So I would like to know if the new card that hasn’t been installed will still be valid when it's time to renew in 4 years?
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 12.0

I don't know anyone who repairs at reasonable prices; the only repairers I know charge very high rates and generally have a waiting time of one month.
you bought a tntsat... despite this:

If you put your card in the demo 10 days before it burned out and you had TNT SAT, then it is validated and in 4 years, you will need to put the new one in the new demo. You can keep it aside and put it in 4 years; it will work for 4 years from the day you put it in.
Hello, he just told you "Photo"
on the TNT SAT website you have this
Everything about the TNT SAT card
> Why do you need to renew the TNT SAT decoder card?
The card providing access to TNT SAT services has a limited lifespan for security reasons, like any access control card on the market. To protect rights holders of TNT SAT programs from piracy, the validity period has been set to 4 years from its initialization, i.e., from the first insertion into the TNT SAT decoder (unless the initialization deadline communicated with the card is exceeded, which triggers the 4-year countdown). At the end of your TNT SAT card's validity, we will offer you the opportunity to renew it easily for just €15 including tax (shipping costs included) and for a new validity period of 4 years.
Your TNT SAT decoder will remain compatible with your new TNT SAT card and you will not need to change your decoder. The TNT SAT service will remain a subscription-free service.
PS: b isa I don't know if your old card will be validated on a new decoder even though you still have years left, why?
You can see that the Canal Satellite group does everything to prevent piracy.
Sure, it has burned out, but you're using a card on another decoder, Canal Sat wants to avoid that.
Each decoder has its own card, its signature; from insertion, the 4-year countdown begins, and at the same time, it leaves a trace; it's like the Windows operating system on multiple machines, it's during the update that it will fail.
Read the forums, "Card only TNT SAT it works then update nothing."
Repairing is sometimes more expensive than a new decoder?
Selling the card? That's piracy
TNT SAT will ask you for the warranty of the device and the invoice of the new card inserted as proof for recovery
PS: As Gil says several times, go to Fransat, no 4-year countdown but orientation towards Eutelsat 5°O
To finish, you will worry for nothing for "15 euros" already started think it over.

I also thought so, but I realized that a TNT Sat card works on any receiver. I have 3 TNT demos: Sagem, CGV, and Strong, and by swapping the cards from one receiver to another, all you need to do is restart, and everything works fine. If that's not the case, just do a factory reset with the card still in it, so the TNT Sat cards are not tied to the specific receiver used.
