Failed to copy to disk. The required file

Hello,

I would like to copy music files to my iTunes library, but unfortunately, I keep getting the following message:
Copy attempt failed for disk "xx". The required file is in use
I load my music onto an external hard drive and these files do not appear in my library. What can I do to fix this?

    Hello. To add music from your computer to the iTunes library, you need to go to iTunes, click on File, then Add to Library, and choose the desired music.
