Unable to transfer files from Mac to external hard drive

I uninstalled Paragon to see what it was like, and then my hard drive reappeared as read-only. When I reinstalled Paragon, it disappeared again, so I think the problem comes from there... I have version 9.5.5, it must be outdated, but I don't really want to shell out €19.50 for the update... Is there another way?

I feel like it's actually Paragon that doesn't recognize the disk...

I have to admit that I'm absolutely terrible at IT... I've never felt like downloading any utility that could read my files, nor that I've changed my permissions.
I looked, and my hard drive is formatted in NTFS...

So, it's exactly what I suspected.

It's already quite full. So, if this file volume placed on this disk was created from a Mac, then there must have been a utility installed on the Mac to achieve this, since the Mac cannot natively write to a disk formatted in NTFS.

If you didn't install a utility specifically purchased for that, such as Paragon NTFS for Mac, it is possible that when you bought this external disk, it came with a small utility to install before using this disk in NTFS. This is common with portable external drives.
You could have just as easily reformatted it to Mac OS and thus not needed a utility. But at this stage, in order not to lose the already present files, and therefore not reformat it, you need to install a utility again. Either you find the utility provided with the disk (it may still be present on it), or you install Paragon NTFS for Mac
