Hello,
I'm having a big problem. My camera is broken. It won't turn on even though the battery is fully charged.
During a meeting, I had offered to present this camcorder to some managers. No matter how hard I pressed the On/Off button, my camera would not turn on at all. Not having used it for a while, I thought the battery might be dead, not thinking to recharge it.
When I got home, I tried to charge the camera battery. When I plugged in the power cable (which was done correctly), the red LED lit up and then systematically went off. So, unless I have the mind of a beginner in this area, I conclude that my battery is full.
Unfortunately. After replacing the battery, I noticed that my camera still won't turn on.
It's worth mentioning that I bought my current camcorder in early 2009. I don't know what the source of the problem is. I want to point out two last things:
* there's no reset button to press to reset the device.
* my camera is a VPC-CG9 from Sanyo-W=Xacti.
Best regards,
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

No. Even when connected to a computer, my camera doesn't turn on.

Actually, on my side, it was because the battery was low. Indeed, a long time ago today, I tried plugging the battery into a power outlet again and the charging was working.

Hello,
I can't really shed much light on this, but try connecting it to your PC, maybe an update needs to be done...
Sorry.
