Hello everyone.
So, after updating the BIOS and drivers for my motherboard (A MSI Z77A-GD55), my
CPU fan is running at full speed (100%) without any need. So I went into
the Control Center from MSI to slow down the fans to 50%, and then it's silent like
before. But every time I start up, the fan speed goes back to 100% and I have to
repeat the same operation every time.
So I'm wondering how to make my fans stay at 50%.
Thank you for your help in advance :)
Have a nice day :)

Hello,
to automatically adjust your fan speed, and therefore not have to reset it each time, you need to configure it in the BIOS, it's anyway the best method.
The BIOS update reset the settings to default, you need to go to the tab that controls the CPU fan speed.
On an Asus motherboard, it's the Hardware Monitor tab, CPU Q Fan Control.
I don't know where it is on MSI, I'm checking an MSI BIOS...
EDIT:
after checking on an MSI Z77 BIOS, it’s called CPU Smart Fan Target on MSI.
You select the temperature not to exceed for your CPU, and the motherboard automatically manages the fan speed. ;)
You can also set the minimum fan speed with CPU Min Fan Speed (for example 50%).
