Problem solved: it was coming from Kaspersky which was probably limiting HTTP traffic. For those interested, I resolved the issue by going to Configuration/Protection/Internet Antivirus/Configuration/Checking "Do not scan HTTP traffic from trusted URLs", then going to Selection and adding "canalplus.fr", OK and that's it!

I'm also in the same situation as you!!! I can't access the Live TV of Canal+ anymore!
And just like for jpc8684, it magically started working again on October 8th, but by the 9th, it was already not working anymore! Whether on IE11, Firefox, or Chrome, it doesn't work!
It only works on a virtual machine running Windows 8 with Chrome only....
Strange, huh!!! I tried uninstalling Silverlight, Java, Flash, and reinstalling everything, but nothing works! Even resetting IE settings... Same deal!!!

I uninstalled Adblock Plus, disabled the Kaspersky ad blocker, and it still doesn't work. I can't see the ad before the video; it must be blocked by something. And it doesn't work with Chrome either.

New feature: When always trying again with adblock plus disabled and Kaspersky's anti-banner off, the player displays "Forbidden domain name".

On 3 different PCs with Windows 8 64 bits, Windows 7 64 and 32 bits.
The same with Chrome, Explorer, and Firefox.
My Flash plugins are up to date. I deleted and reinstalled them... same thing.
I disabled other plugins (VLC, Quicktime,...)... same thing.
Changed my DNS... same thing.
