Hello, I'm new to the site, but I have a little problem. Does anyone know a free site where I could get started with the SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) software? Thank you for replying. I've spent a week on different sites, but I can't find anything, and I need it for my future job, and I really need this job.

Hello,
with this kind of software, it’s impossible to find free training. Either you are employed and your company uses SAP and provides training. On my side, I found the budget to train in FI and CO: listen well, around €20,000 at SAP France with certification, for a duration of 20 days per module. Another option: if you have a basic training in computer science, there has been a specific training on SAP (duration 1 year) offered by SOPRA Group this year due to the shortage.
In the meantime, you can buy "My SAP ERP" from the "For Dummies" collection, excellent for discovering the world of an ERP.

Through the Dir-e, SAP offers training on certain modules for job seekers with official certification at SAP France in Paris.

The fees are quite accessible. The training takes place in Courbevoie (92, La Défense district).

Regarding funding, don't waste your time with the ANPE. Prefer Fongécif, Assedic, self-funding, or check with Manpower if you are working with them temporarily.

I discovered a blog on SAP and BW (Business Warehouse: data warehouse management), run by SAP consultants, great for getting familiar with this environment or asking questions.

Another reading to explore SAP ERP: "mySAP ERP" in the For Dummies collection, €22.90, a 360-page book.

You can use MINISAP to learn at home.  MINISAP is a real SAP base system without the SAP applications (FI, CO, MM, SD, etc.). It has all the basic functions of a standard SAP R/3 (ABAP/4 Development Workbench, Data Transfer Workbench, Computer Center Management System - CCMS, etc.) and, therefore, is a very good way to get exposed to and trained in ABAP/4 programming language.  It is also a very good personal productivity tool (for example, it can be used to develop programs for clients without having to be on-site).  MINISAP is for those who are newcomers and want to gain basic exposure or want to learn ABAP programming on their home PC.  You can download MINISAP from the sap.com website.

Hello everyone  It's true that the budget is important, but it's possible to negotiate with the organization. For example, there are two organizations, Yellow Training and Fitec, based in La Défense near Courbevoie (address available online). You can pay 3,500 euros for the FI/CO training, depending on your situation... but be careful, they tend not to respect the content of the training. For instance, they offer FI/CO training and only teach FI, while skipping over CO... explaining it roughly given the proposed price. Anyway... another thing is that they package the training under the guise of 'consultant posture' for 3 days of training...??? when you are there to work on SAP, which requires a lot of effort. One must be cautious; unfortunately, there's always a catch at that price. The example I just gave you concerns Fitec; I had to stop after 2 weeks, after learning that the CO module was not being covered... rest assured they refunded me. If you are employed, talk about your project to HR or your supervisor.

If you are job searching, inquire with Fongecif to submit a funding application (you need to justify your project and align it with your career development); you can also combine this request with assistance from your local council, as they generally allocate funds for training.

SAP training, the module costs around €7,000 to €8,000, take a breath, you might choke!!!!!! Also, look online, there is a SAP users' association, visit dedicated forums and discuss your project. Register on the publisher's website, you will receive pricing and content information.

In the meantime, you can get "SAP for Dummies," it's already good to be able to discuss it knowledgeably with a recruiter, this will further demonstrate your motivation to acquire this knowledge.
