Recover data from Ciel Devis Facture without having the backup.

Hello everyone,

I had a computer issue and I could no longer start it.
I had to connect my hard drive to a working computer.
The problem is that my last backup of Ciel Devis is from months ago, and since then a lot of invoices...
Can I recover my data? I have a version of Ciel Devis installed on my new computer with no entries or invoices.

Is there a way to recover my old invoices?

I go to the root of my old hard drive, then to the Ciel Data directory, then to Folders and there I have a folder with my company name. If I click on it, I have a file with the same name as my company, a ciel sdvgf file.

Is there a way to recover all my old invoices?

P.S.: If there's a fee for this process, that's fine... as long as it's honest (I'm from Lyon).

Hello,

In principle, you just need to:

1/ Retrieve your .sdvgf file
2/ Place it on the new computer, by RECREATING the path it was in on the old one (so: C:\Données Ciel\Dossiers, etc.).

And you should be able to open it from the software.
