Restore old contacts, calendar, etc... saved.

You may have noticed that there is a significant difference between your old version of Mac OS and version OS 10.8, which is the visibility of YOUR library.

So, I don’t know how you managed to work around this in your previous tests, but I'm afraid you might have mistaken the library. There are three on your hard drive. Only one pertains to your problem, the one located in YOUR directory. Not the one at the root of the disk, nor the one in the "System" folder.

It is still in the same place, but since Mac OS 10.7, it is by default invisible.
Its location is still here:
Hard_disk / Users / Username / Library / Calendars

But since you are now on 10.8, you cannot directly access the "Library" element of the indicated path. (Security measure desired by Apple...)
I could tell you how to access it temporarily from the Finder, but that won't simplify your task in this context.

The best thing is to make this library visible for as long as you need. For that, use
iTweax. In its Tweaks tab, you will find a checkbox named 'Show Users Library Folders', check it, and click on Apply.

Now your library is visible. Including in Time Machine
You go there, and drag the Calendars folder to the desktop for safety measures, but beforehand, you will have made sure to export any calendars you created to the desktop as well.

Then, you enter Time Machine, and go to a date when you still had the correct calendars. You restore the Calendars folder.

If it worked, and you had new events created and exported to the desktop, you will just have to re-import them.

I would like to clarify my previous request.
Actually, regarding all my documents and photos, that doesn’t pose a problem for me. What I’m struggling with is retrieving all my information from my old agenda, as well as all my notes from my old calendar. Thank you very much, I think these are very useful information and tools for restoring in the future in case of a problem. But in my specific case, since I do not want to restore my disk in its entirety, but just one or two very specific restore points (for example: "the notes in the calendar" which were not the same, since the old MAC was Snow Leopard, and now the new Mac is Lion Mountain).
In this restoration, is it possible to specify only (and just) one or two restoration elements? And where can I find them, because it’s not the software I need, but just the internal writings.

Thank you, so it should work then? Yes, not simple of course, I was already suspecting that some manipulation like this was needed. But luckily, I'm just starting out with this brand new Mac, I just received it and so far have little new information. A glimmer of hope then (!) And I have indeed already set up iCloud, (which wasn't possible before in Léopard.) for my future restorations.

So, to summarize, there's no need to go through restoration but to import my files as you explained to do earlier. That's right?

Sorry, I'm coming back to the charge... I tried but I still don't understand. If I go to my external backup drive, all the files are there and "calendart" too, of course. But when I connect with Time Machine, it doesn't see them. It doesn't show any backups. I'm starting to regret Snow Leopard, which I had pretty much figured out. I'll get used to it, but for now, I'm really struggling.
If you have any other ideas, I would really appreciate it; that said, if you find me a bit clueless and decide to brush me off, I would understand too.

I tried moving the old address book saved on the desktop... but it seems not to be recognized. (Maybe I need to check certain options in Time Machine.) It does see my removable disk anyway, and it has already started a backup for me.
