How to type the question mark

Hello, I recently bought a new HP Pavilion series computer with a 4-core processor running Windows 7. I am unable to type the question mark sign. It is located on the last row of the usual keys just above the Alt Gr key and is the last key on the right of that row. To its right is the right arrow (upward). What complicates this key is that in addition to the question mark sign at the top left, there is a vertical line below it and to the right in blue is the É and below it is the sign ' which looks like an apostrophe. There are no explanations in the little manual or in the Help tab on the computer. A solution to my little problem would be appreciated!

Non Regis59, there are four (4) characters: the question mark and below it the vertical bar in white, both on the left. On the right is the É and below it a small sign that looks like a mini apostrophe ('). Your answer gives the "É". I forgot to mention that I don't know how to make the vertical bar (which is also blue on the 3 key). If we can't find the answer, I will contact the Hewlett-Packard Company. This keyboard must be designed for scholars! Thank you!

Hello Regis59, I did the "?" but not with the same key. By pressing "Shift" (for me, an up arrow) and the number key, the 6 at the top. Thanks to Dan. I hadn't noticed this symbol because I was always looking at the bottom left key of the white arrow. It's frustrating because keyboards are all different, and for technological advancement, we keep adding more symbols on the keys. I have two that have five symbols. So my question is still on the table! Bye
