Hello,
I just bought an Xbox 360 Slim 250 GB, and when I try to create an Xbox Live account, a message appears prompting me to launch a system update without which I won't be able to connect to Xbox Live. I start the download, and after a few seconds, the following error message appears:
"Unable to download the update. To test the connection, go to System Settings, select Network Settings, then Test Xbox LIVE Connection.
If the problem persists, visit www.xbox.com/support.
Status code:
397F - 0000 - 0080 - 0300 - 8007 - 045D"
I tested the connection, but it just brings me back to downloading the system update.

Take a USB drive, plug it into your console, and convert it.
Turn off your console.
Go to your PC and download the update onto your USB drive.
Then put the USB back into the 360.
And then turn it on.
And there you go, lol
