Hello everyone,

Can someone tell me how to put an ultra slim PS3 into recovery mode?

1. Turn off taps3
2. Press and hold the power button, the PS3 will start and then stop
3. Release the power button, then press and hold (again) the power button, you will hear a "beep" followed by 2 consecutive "beeps".
4. Release the power button and follow the instructions on the screen. You are now in the recovery menu of your PS3

In this mode you can
1. Restart the PS3
2. Restore default settings (factory settings)
3. Restore system files
4. Rebuild the database (used to speed up loading the trophy list among other things)
5. Restore the PS3 system
6. Update the system using a pup file located in USB:/PS3/UPDATE/

If your PlayStation 3 menu is frozen, you should do this, or at least I think so.

it doesn't work for me, I don't know why but it's annoying especially since I'm going to make a video on PlayStation 3

(my channel: enzostrong1000Lite. I'm a beginner)

My PS3 won't turn on, I get a black screen while my ON/OFF button is green. It's really annoying, anyway thanks anyway.
