Hello,
I installed a printer by connecting it to my Bbox. Everything works great, except I want to rename this printer: it's a Brother 130C, but Windows shows me a long, incomprehensible name (Linux_2_6_28_8_ohci_hcd_Ikanos_On_Chip_OHCI_Host_Controller), yeah, just that!!
Problem: I can't rename the printer.
Can someone help me please?
Thanks in advance

Well, I'm answering myself!
It is possible to rename a printer through the registry:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Print\Printers\<printer name>"
Then on the right, click on the "Name" key > "modify" > and then enter the desired name.
After restarting the computer, the name is changed!
