No image video

I had the same problem, no software worked, Windows Media, VLC, and now it's working again: THANK YOU,
But with the acceleration set to none, what does that change?

I have roughly the same problem... I have no image (only sound) when I play a video.
But it only happens when I'm using bblean (blackbox: alternative shell to explorer.exe) while it works fine under explorer. Moreover, when I play the video on the TV, I do have an image under bblean.
So now I don't know what to do to be able to play my videos (I've tried formatting, reinstalling codecs, using media player, VLC, winamp...)

Can someone help me???

To solve the problem, you need to install Movie Maker 2.6 and uninstall. This sets up codecs in system32. After that, in Movie Maker, you will have both image and sound for AVI files.

I have seen the same kind of problems in recent days and it was a matter of configuring the graphics card.

I have a problem with the videos from cacaoweb; the colors are not right. Sometimes it happens with VLC, but with VLC, we can change them by going into the settings, etc... but with cacaoweb, I can't find how to do it, so if someone has the answer, it would be really nice to share it with me :) thanks in advance!
