Sony K415S hyperthreading: comment l'activer?

Je possède un portable VAIO Sony K415S, P IV 3.06Gz, qui mentionne la fonction hyper threading. Hors, impossible d' activer ce "faux" double processeur, ni dans le bios, ni dans windows. J'ai tenté dans msconfig, peux pô..... Qu'est ce que signifie hyper threading dans ce cas? A faire vendre? Merci d'avance....
