Change the language of a game

Question

Hello, I have the game Fable 3, but the only issue is that the game is in English and I prefer to play it in French. I'm wondering if there is a way to switch it to French. What's strange is that my Battlefield 3 was also in English but automatically switched to French as soon as I played it. Is there a patch for Fable 3 in French? Do I need to go through Xbox Live or do I have to tinker directly with the hard drive on my PC? Thanks in advance.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 16.0

If you're on Xbox 360, the language of the games is chosen directly in Xbox Live, so if you choose FR, all your games should normally be in French, right?  -- Have fun, young Padawan :)

Where did you buy it? Is the box in French? Aren't the supported languages noted on it?

I have the same problem with Skyrim too... all the kit (books, box, writings on the CD) is in French, but the game (the software on the CD) is in English. We can no longer even rely on our box or the language of our Xbox these days!

Having the French version of Fable 3, there are free DLCs to download an English, German or other patch, so if you are in English, there is probably one in French but you have to start a new game to activate the patch.
