Hello,
I have read many blogs about this and none of them helped me. I am working on a Word 2003 file and I have inserted checkboxes. However, every time I open the document, the design mode appears.
Please help me.
Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

I found it.
The macro security level in Word (Tools - Macros - Security) must be at least medium.
If the security level is set to high (which is the default during software installation and can only be changed by the user, otherwise it would be pointless), macros will always be in design mode and thus the document will always be in design mode.
