Hello,
I am aware of the keyboard shortcuts Shift+Alt or Ctrl+Alt that allow switching from one language to another. What I need is not very different, but I believe it should become something essential in the future for those who use multiple languages...
I need one key (not a combination, JUST ONE KEY, Ctrl, F1, Windows, whatever) that switches me to one language (for example French) and another key that switches me to another language (Russian).
EXAMPLE:
Left Ctrl -> French
Right Ctrl -> Russian
The big difference is that I don’t need to know which language I’m in to change if necessary. Automatically, before writing in French, I press this key, even if I am already in French. And the same goes for Russian.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
Configuration: Windows XP / Chrome 18.0.1025.162

To do this, you need to know if there are any keys that you never use
because personally, all the keys on my keyboard are useful to me.
And as far as I remember, the quick switch cannot be associated with a key but only with a combination of CTRL (or ALT) + Shift + key (0 to 9)
If you want to do it with a key combination, just go to the control panel and regional and linguistic options
then tab Language --> Details --> Key settings
