Hello,

I only have one "administrator" account
I go to the command prompt and type sfc /verifyonly
and the following message appears:
to use the sfc utility you need to be an administrator executing a control session.
I don't understand why since I always start the computer as an administrator.
How can I fix this problem?
Thank you for your help

On Windows 7, the administrator account is considered more or less like a normal account.

I think that to run this command, you need to open the command prompt as an administrator (right-click -> run as ...).

      It's "run as administrator"

If you can't find it, it might be because you're not an admin....
