Hello,

Following an error code 39 on the keyboard and touchpad, I deleted the uppfilter registry key as indicated in the tutorials to fix error 39. Now, upon restarting, I'm faced with error codes 10 on both.
I tried updating the driver via Windows Update, through the Device Manager, but it didn't work.
The keyboard is functioning as it responds very well in the BIOS, and both keyboard and mouse work with a bootable Linux CD.
I read that the solution for error 10 is to update the drivers, but I can't find updates for a driver like the PS2 keyboard!!!
What should I do?

The computer is a Sony Vaio VGN-NR32M, and I installed the chipset driver from the website with no change.

I tried, it says "Windows encountered a problem installing this driver, error code 10," I forgot to mention, I am on Windows VISTA.
