Hello,
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 14.0.1
I have recovered my mother's GPS, however I don't have the cable to connect it to the PC. Is it possible to do an update via the SD card? Thank you.

Hello,
here's how it works on my Viamichelin x970t.
To connect your GPS to the PC, any USB male -> mini USB male cable will do, for example the one used for an MP3 player (at least my SANSA Clip). Then, don't count too much on an update: Michelin stopped selling and maintaining this series several years ago. Therefore, it's impossible to update the Viamichelin maps. The only solution is to find/buy an SD card containing the IGO 8.3.4 software as well as the corresponding maps and insert it into the GPS instead of the Michelin card, reset with a paperclip, and you'll have more recent data (2009). This solution works for me, I don't know if the latest version of IGO with the late 2011 maps works.
