Software not installing...

Hello,

I wanted to install a building calculation software (Cype) and when I click on the installation file, I see a window pop up with the following message:

wrong code-page. Cype applications are not Unicode applications. therefore, it is necessary to select the appropriate code-page to run software

I would like to inform you that the English version (on the same DVD) installs correctly, but the French version does not. Why?

      I have the same issue, the EN version installs normally but the FR version gives the same error message as Laura's, help us.

    It's easy to install CYPE in French; you need to change the Unicode settings in Windows following these steps:

    for Windows 7
    1-go to the Control Panel
    2-region and language
    3-Administrator
    4-language for non-Unicode programs
    5- choose French-France

    the same way for other Windows (XP)
