Hello,
Let me explain my problem. About 2 weeks ago, I bought an LG LED television (42LS570S) measuring 107cm, which is a very good product. I often watch movies and series without any issues, but last night I wanted to connect my TV with my Ethernet cable to enjoy LG Smart. When I accessed the app, the TV asked me for an update, and I replied yes. The update completed successfully without any problems, and apparently there are no changes. When I resumed a movie, I noticed that the picture quality has become really "real" — I'm not sure if that’s the right term, but what I mean is that it seems a bit sped up, with great quality, but I really don’t like it at all. I dislike it very much, and when there are fast-paced sections in a movie, it causes some stutters. So I would really like to completely reset the TV to put back the old update, but I just can't figure it out... the same goes for playing on the PlayStation. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it....

    Good evening benjy59460,

    To counter this feeling of acceleration, it's important to disable the TruMotion option on your LG 42LS570S television.

    To do this, go to your television's menu using the "MENU" button on your remote control. Navigate to the "PICTURE" section. You will find the TruMotion option: set it to "OFF".

    Hello,
    I have the same television, but the update did not work; at least my TV froze and then turned off during the update. After that, I was able to turn it back on, but it turned off again, and since then, nothing has happened.
    Is there any possibility for me to get some help?

      Hello,

      If your screen can still be powered on but turns off unexpectedly or goes into sleep mode automatically, your screen may be experiencing a power supply issue.

      The goal is to unplug your screen for 6 hours.
      During this time, every two hours, press the "Power" button on your screen to drain the stored power in the product. (This operation should be done with the product unplugged)

      After the elapsed time, plug your screen back into a wall outlet and try to turn it on.

      If the issue persists, it is very likely that the problem is mechanical and originates from the power supply circuit.
      The screen will therefore require servicing.

      I invite you to contact the manufacturer's hotline to obtain the necessary steps for availing of customer service.
