Canon MG4150 Printer Installation

Solved

Hello,

I just bought a CANON PIXMA MG4150 printer.
I want to install it via Wi-Fi, but nothing works; the computer does not detect it.
The printer is properly connected to the Wi-Fi network, and the computer is too.
I tried manually adding the printer to the network, but still nothing.
It works fine via USB.
I’m on Windows Vista. I checked the firewalls (the manual says this could be a reason for not being detected), but still nothing.

If anyone has any ideas or knows the procedure to follow, that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Julien

Configuration: Windows Vista / Safari 537.1

    Good evening

Launch the installation utility that is on the CD.

    Select WiFi configuration

There, the utility will ask you to connect the printer via USB during the configuration.

Once finished, you can remove your USB cable.

    Hi XiE

Thanks for the info, actually, it was just a router problem!
