Canon MP620 Printer Configuration over Wi-Fi

Hello,
I just bought a Canon MP620 printer. I can't seem to install it. During the installation with the installation CD, I go through the first steps, but when communicating with the printer, I get a message saying that the network printer was not automatically detected. I would like to point out that I am using Wi-Fi with Numericable Netgear. I am on Windows XP
