Hello, I just got a Nikon Coolpix S640 camera; I am very happy except its capacity is very low. So, I decided to buy a memory card.
Not knowing which one to buy, I went to Fnac and the seller offered me a 4GB card for 9.90 euros.
Specifications: Lexar: Premium series 4GB SDHC 100x
And the problem appeared at that moment. I started taking pictures, I photographed with no problem, but when I went to view them, they displayed and then disappeared, and this message appeared: "this file does not contain image data." I thought I would transfer them, maybe it wouldn't glitch, and then horror struck when I saw all the photos taken with the memory card had this message, they were all cut off, all yellow "grayed out."
That’s when I deduced something: without this card, my photos are perfect, but when I take pictures with it, the photos are cut off and ugly; however, a few photos are intact despite the fact I took them with the memory card inserted.
I hope to get some answers, sorry for the length and thank you in advance.

How could I format it otherwise?
