Mustek MP70B

Hello everyone. I don’t know if this forum is appropriate for my request and if I could find an answer to my problem. I bought last week a portable DVD player Mustek MP70B. So far no problems. The player has a USB port, so I decide to plug in my thumb drive to be able to watch a movie that I transferred from my computer onto the drive. But that’s where it all gets complicated. Indeed the screen of the player shows 'read usb'. I imagine the player can read the drive but nothing is displayed. The movie format is indeed compatible (AVI video), and I don’t think the problem comes from the drive which is new. Hoping you can shed some light on this.

    I called MUSTEK in Germany: You can call them for any information. The only requirement is to speak German or English... we can manage in French... Anyway, I also believed I could use the USB key to read the movies, but no, that's not possible: This USB key is only used for viewing photos (just like the Smart ard) or listening to music... Only inserting a DVD allows you to view a movie. Voila Voilà. if you have contrary information please let us know.
