Hello,
I would like to protect certain cells in Open Office Calc. I tried using the help feature, but I don’t find the explanation very clear, actually I can't manage to do it.
Could someone help me?
Thanks in advance.

Hello
right-click / format cells / protection tab
uncheck "locked" to unlock the desired cells since they are all locked by default when the sheet is protected.
for the toolbar sheet / tools / protect document

aren't we the only ones who understand what we're explaining?

Hello,
That's where my problem lies. When I right-click I only see: copy and selection list! If I click on "format," "cell" is inactive! So... I can't disable anything! Could I have a bad version of Open Office?
Thank you for replying.

Hello
see in Tool / protection
the sheet must not be protected before "adjusting" the cells
best regards

Hello again,
Thank you for your response, phew it works. I must be hard to understand (as we say in our region!).
But this raises another problem for me. Since the sheet is protected, we can no longer insert new rows!
In fact, I'm busy preparing spreadsheets for someone who knows even less than I do, and I would like to protect all the formulas I've already created, but still allow her to add rows. I hope that's possible?
Best regards
