Hello,
I wanted to visit the CAF website, https://www.caf.fr
But there’s a problem because apparently it’s the old name and on the homepage I’m redirected, and no matter what department I put in (try it and you’ll see), the following link is in www3. I don’t know what it is or what it corresponds to, I read the 2 messages about it but I didn’t understand anything. What I notice especially is that the http preceding it is not secure.
Secondly, when I try to go to "access" my "account", the link this time is secure, but what I see is wwwd. https://wwwd.caf.fr and I have never seen this thing before, if you can guarantee me what it is it would help me please.
Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello
The homepage of the caf is no longer on https, but that's not an issue since it's just an informational page.
As for www, www3, wwwd, they are actually subdomains of the domain caf.fr.
It's customary for the main site to be www, but there's nothing preventing the webmaster from using something else; if they want to create toto.caf.fr, they can do it.
I think this is due to the site being in transition and they are still reserving www for the old site, thus www3 for the new one; this should change when they completely shut down the old one.

ok thanks it's super clear ;)
Good evening to some and good morning to others.
Question: Is the CAF website no longer asking for the confidential code? Because to log in today, I only saw the fields to fill in for "postal code," "recipient number," "day and month of birth"; honestly, if that's the case, this information is easy to find!!!
If that's the case, please confirm it, thank you. :)

I assure you, it still asks for the confidential code, it's just that it happens on the second identification page after filling out the primary page and using the login button. It's to secure your connection even more, and fortunately, it's still required; otherwise, they would have quite a few problems lol.
Honestly, you're an angel for responding so quickly, I was starting to worry, I didn't want to enter my information, hats off for taking the risk for me.
I admit, the info without a code is easy to find by those close to us.
thank you thank you thank you, :), I don't know if on CCM we can be friends between members? and if it's mutual of course!!!
