Excel 2010 copy-paste issue

Hello,

I am trying to copy a table with formulas from one Excel workbook to another, but Excel cannot paste the formulas, only the values. The error message that appears is as follows:
"The range you are pasting contains formulas that cannot be pasted into this instance of Excel; however, the formulas will be pasted as values. This may occur when you are pasting formulas in protected mode, from another instance of Excel, or from another application."
I don’t know how to resolve this issue, how to identify these so-called "protected mode formulas" and remove this protection. I would like to clarify that the workbooks I am working on are not protected.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Well, I found out where it came from.

Some of our users asked for Excel documents to be opened in two different instances, which is not the default behavior.

When documents are opened in separate instances, the formula copying does not work. You need to open the documents in the same instance.

(open the first doc, then file > open to open the second document)
