Video too long for YouTube Solved

Question

Hello,

I’m trying to post a 17.50-minute video on my account, and after all the loading time, they say it’s successful. I then launch the link and they tell me the video has been deleted because it’s too long :/ How can I solve this problem? Do I need to create a new account? Or do I have to split my video into two? Thank you

Hello, for your issue, you need to go to the video manager, then settings, and on the left features, then click on unlimited streaming and validate your account via SMS. =)

Hello,
You can find 2-hour videos on YouTube, so I doubt that the problem comes from a video being too long... Check your account settings, you never know, it might be a bad configuration.

I checked the settings, and they tell me that everything is in order. The other accounts might be special accounts with a lot of subscribers that are allowed by YouTube to post such long videos (?).

Hello, you might be right, very long videos are mostly reserved for artists or the professional music industry; amateurs cannot post videos longer than 10 minutes. Your first video should be less than 15 minutes, then you can look for where you can increase your video time.
