Hello,
I downloaded the Android market on my Arnova 9g2 tablet, which has a version of Android 2.3.1 and kernel version 2.6.32.27
I did as instructed online and when I open the app, it asks me “You need to add an account on the device to continue. Would you like to add one now?”
And when I click yes (I have a Google account), instead of showing an instruction page to follow as mentioned on the net, it just takes me back to the place where I was when I opened the app!
HELP!
Best regards
Configuration: Windows Vista, Google chrome.

If you have important photos or apps
save them on your computer during the procedure as the installation
resets everything and deletes everything.
/!\ WARNING /!\
I don't know if this practice is legal so you can proceed
peacefully in my opinion but do not send error reports to Google because the report contains the device name, so
there you go.
You need to download this app from appslib:
Arctools
Then install it, but when it's finished click OK and not open and then open it.
Next, go to the firmware tab.
Then choose the firmware Arnova 9 G2 firmware 1.11 EZ or something like that.
Click on I agree then install.
There will be some writings indicating information and all that shows you the progress of the work, so that's normal.
After that, it will ask you to turn off the tablet (you do it)
Then when it is completely off, turn it back on. (It may be that it glitches at first; if that happens, insert a toothpick into the reset hole and wait for it to turn off, then turn it back on)
Then it will ask you if you want to install the firmware (of course, you click yes).
The tablet will display a menu on a black background and ask you to connect it via USB to a PC; do it (otherwise you can just connect it with your charger to power it).
After a few minutes, it will restart on its own.
And you will be pleasantly surprised to find Google Play (formerly Android Market) in the list of applications!
