Hello, I lost the original remote control and so I bought a universal one that works very well but can only be programmed with the TV in standby. However, manually, it is either off or on... :-((
How can I put it in standby to program the remote control? I tried using the codes with the TV on without success. I also unplugged the power while it was on, pressed both channel buttons at the same time, still no luck.
Thanks in advance
Configuration: Windows Vista / Safari 535.19

Hello, normally your TV just needs to be turned on, when searching for the codes with the remote control or if you enter one directly on the remote, after validating the code, your remote will change the TV channel or turn it off, that will be the sign that the remote is set to the infrared code of the TV.
- Indeed, you just had to believe... I followed the procedure with the TV on. I entered the Océanic brand code on the remote, then I changed the channel and... it worked. Everything's good.
Thank you all very much. I still don't know how to put it on standby without the remote, but thanks to you, I no longer need it. ;-)
