Hello,
I have a problem when I burn a DVD+R INTENSO 4.7GB. I put my DVD into my PC drive, in the options I choose "Burn a video DVD", then I create my DVD menu etc... and click on Burn.
At the end of the burning process, when I play it on my DVD player or PC, THERE IS NO SOUND.
The movie sound works fine before I burn it.
Thank you

Hello,
What software do you use to create or burn your DVD-Video?
On your computer, is the DVD audible or not? No, I hadn't seen your clarification... sorry ;)
Analyze a "large" VOB file with MediaInfo to find out if an audio stream is present and inaudible or if it is absent.
Since this is a DVD-Video, the audio can be in AC3 (Dolby Digital), MP2 (Stereo), or PCM (uncompressed) but that's rarer.
Depending on what you're doing, check for the possibility of modifying the audio settings when creating a DVD-Video, as it might not be supported by your standalone player.
I also suggest that before proceeding with the burn and if possible, write your DVD-Video on your computer or use a DVD RW.
Best regards

If you have a DVD RW to test burns, try another free authoring software if you want. See those mentioned in the second part of this tip for example: https://www.commentcamarche.net/faq/19465-creer-une-video-avi-avec-un-menu
The software that is closest regarding menus is Sothink Movie DVD Maker but it leaves a small introductory message before the video. The others I believe are more rudimentary, but that is sufficient for me. DVDStyler is among the most versatile along with DVD Flick (4 or 5 imposed menus), which offers interesting additional options.
For some of them, you can create your DVD-Video on your computer in the form of a folder, which allows you to check the presence/absence of sound before actually burning. If we can save a little on DVDs, that's always a plus ;)
As for the absence of the audio stream, I don't know why Windows DVD Maker did not "convert" the one from your original file since it is indeed absent according to MediaInfo.
I do remember having tested several types of different files with this application and it worked well for me as far as I can recall.
