Hello,
I have a problem with a Ricoh printer. It is properly installed and connected to the network, but the printer port changes about once a week, causing the printer to go offline.
So we have to reinstall the new port on each computer every time for the printer to be connected.
What could be the source of the problem? Our computers all have different operating systems, and I'm not sure if that is related.
Thank you in advance!

Absolutely,
the problem is certainly resolved.
Printers, like servers and routers, must always be configured with a fixed address or with static DHCP, but be careful in case of exchange for troubleshooting, which is still quite common with printers, it is then necessary to modify the DHCP allocation tables each time with the new MAC address.

it needs to be set to a static IP.
