Hello,
Here’s a question that isn’t very technical but practical.
The suction cup of the mount that attaches to the windshield is damaged. As a result, the mount doesn't hold anymore.
Is there a solution to repair this suction cup?
If the repair is impossible, is it possible to glue the mount (the suction cup) to the windshield using silicone? Will this adhesive be strong enough to withstand vibrations? I'm perfectly fine with this adhesive being permanent.
If you think silicone won't be effective, what else could I use (without buying an adhesive that costs as much as a new mount)?
Thank you in advance.
William
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 11.0
