TomTom XL GPS stuck on startup screen

Good evening, I have a TOMTOM XL Europe 31 GPS, and upon startup, it lights up, charges, and then gets stuck on the startup image with the steering wheel and the "TOMTOM" and the two red hands on the white round XL. And that's it, nothing happens, it remains stuck on this image.
