Probleme de connexion a Postgresql

Pour me connecter a la base de donnnees Postgresql, j'ai rencontré des problemes
j'ai tape le script suivant
<?php pg_connect("host=localhost port=5432 dbname=cerd_sig user=postgres password=sig2011+++"); ?>
Mais quand je l'execute ça me donne comme erreur
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: pg_connect() in c:\program files\easyphp1-8\www\postgres\connexion.php on line 3
