PB affichage sur la TV avec carte ATI radeon

bonjour,

J'ai une carte ati radeon 9550 j'essaie sans succès de mettre ubuntu sur ma télé. Lors du démarrage du PC, les images du logo de mon pC apparaissent et dès que gdm doit se lancer, l'image se deforme avec des rayures partout, par contre il y a du son. La definition est en 800x600. J'ai essayé avec le live CD, idem.

Y at-il quelquechose de particulier à modifier dans /etc/X11/xorg.conf ?

Avant ubuntu, j'avais mandriva sur la télé avec l'option "fdev" et ça marchait.

Ps: le branchement entre le PC et la télé est en S-VIDEO via un adaptateur péritel.

    Salut,

    j'ai reussi à afficher ubuntu sur ma télé. Pour ça il a fallu que je fasse un "dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg" et que je choisisse le driver "vesa" dans xorg.conf.

    Hier, j'avais fait exactememnt la même chose sans succès et j'ai compris que le problème venait de l'affichage du démarrage graphique de ubuntu. j'ai donc supprimé dans grub "quiet splash" pour avoir le detail du démarrage en mode texte. Ensuite pas de problème le bureau s'affiche normalement.
    Il faut donc très certainement faire un réglage de définition du démarrage graphique d'ubuntu mais je ne sais pas comment faire ça ??

    Ensuite j'ai installé l'accélération 3D en utilisant les driver propriétaire d'ATI. Tout s'est bien passé et le resultat est honorable :

    12101 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2420.176 FPS
    13002 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2600.245 FPS
    13003 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2600.476 FPS
    13003 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2600.560 FPS


    néanmoins, j'ai un petit soucis, j'ai l'impression que l'ecran siffle, c'est léger mais on l'entends. Si je fais une action (ouverture d'un programmeou autre) le sifflement augmente puis diminue??
