Unable to add a friend on facebook

Hello everyone :)

I have a problem that is bothering me a lot! So I deleted a friend from my Facebook friends and I wanted to add him again, but I can't add him because the "add" icon doesn't exist. Can you help me? :)

    You need to update your profile for the "Add" button to reappear
    otherwise you can ask them to add you, because they may have deactivated the "Add as friend" option on their profile.
