Factory Reset on Philips TV 42PFL3522D

Hello,

I have lost the remote control for my Philips 42PFL3522D / LC7.2E LA television.

I use a universal remote Metronic Zap 6, but the image resizing functions do not work. The TV remains stuck in "Super 4/3" which makes watching videos and using consoles impossible.

How do you reset the TV to factory settings? I tried holding the menu button for 5 seconds, but it only resets the channels.

      Excellent suggestion which I actually applied before coming here to post. As I indicated, manipulating the manual reset only resets the chains, not the image size settings.

      Any useful idea now?

      P.S. the exact comment would have been RTFM.

      For universal remotes, to have a good experience, a Logitech Harmony One is decidedly better.
