SMV file reader for Windows

Hello,
I am looking for software that can play SMV video files on a PC running XP to verify them.
I convert AVI files to SMV during the week for my daughter, who is a student.

    It doesn't exist because it's encoded in the mp3 and we no longer know how to decode it... what a paradox!
