Hello,
I have a P3250 projector that asks for a startup password. It initialized itself. Neither the administrator password from the manual nor the security code provided with the device are recognized. Acer informally told me that it’s a motherboard bug. Since it’s no longer under warranty, they want to charge for the service (which amounts to about 50% of the price of a new device). Besides finding a used motherboard, I’m appealing to more tinkerer-friendly people: is there any way to “bypass” this password request?
Thanks in advance.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 7.0
